PADI Scuba Diver

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water Diver course designed for people with limited time. This class involves 2 dives, plus pool sessions, classroom sessions and self-study. After receiving this certification you can dive with a dive professional guide to a maximum of 40 feet.


  • Minimum certification: None
  • Minimum age: 12 (contact us for training children ages 10 or 11)

Number of dives: 3 pool sessions and 2 open water dives over 1 week

What you get: PADI Open Water Diver manual, Deluxe Log Book pages with binder, Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), standard dive gear rental

What you need to bring: Swimsuit for pool sessions

Class size: Limited to 6 students


The PADI Scuba Diver certification is a good start, but we believe that an Open Water Diver certification is needed to fully experience the natural beauty of the underwater world. Therefore, we offer a lifetime free upgrade: any of our certified PADI Scuba Divers can attend our Open Water Diver classes for free!

  • 1 or 2 students: $600 each
  • 3 or 4 students: $450 each
  • 5 or 6 students: $390 each
